Totally - I tried beta blockers on a couple of occasion but because I run it was impossible - you need your heart rate to go up! Colds and fluey type things are a pest as well, that’s when it can drop below 40 and I’m just flattened.
Your heart rate is probably slower with all that exercise anyway. I couldn’t walk and talk at the same time on beta blockers, so they’re just not for me.
Beautiful. I love the way this poem ends.
Thank you, really appreciate you taking time to comment ☺️
What a beautiful poem. I can’t decide which line I love most!
Thank you for your kind comment, Lisa!
My heart's bound by curled
and capricious corridors,
holding yours in care.
Beautiful - thank you 💙
