I know the feeling—51 most of the time, 38 when they put me on beta blockers—I functioned but was breathless . You are what you are…

Totally - I tried beta blockers on a couple of occasion but because I run it was impossible - you need your heart rate to go up! Colds and fluey type things are a pest as well, that’s when it can drop below 40 and I’m just flattened.

Your heart rate is probably slower with all that exercise anyway. I couldn’t walk and talk at the same time on beta blockers, so they’re just not for me.
